(Sr.) Software Engineer (PHP)

What will you be working on?

We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer (PHP) with at least 5 years of experience who is not afraid to take initiative in the development of our new crypto broker platform. By mid-2020 we will be on the market with this product. Through an API, third parties can offer our fiat-to-crypto functionality to their end users. These end users are then redirected to our platform through the link. Existing customers include well-known wallet providers such as Trezor and Coinomi and exchanges such as Kucoin.

As Sr. Software Engineer (PHP) you take the lead in the development team to invent, design and realize new solutions. Together with the Product Owner and the other developers, you play a leading role in the development process so that our platform continuously improves.

What do we expect from you?

• You are structured, enthusiastic and a real go-getter and team player
• You have the ambition to write readable, efficient code
• You have a good command of PHP 7 and 8
• You have strong knowledge of OOP and Design Patterns
• Writing RESTful APIs is second nature to you
• You use your knowledge and experience to help and coach others
• You have demonstrable experience working in Agile environments, preferably Scrum.
• You are skilled in writing and automating software testing
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is a plus
• Experience with public cloud, preferably Google Cloud is a plus
• Experience or familiarity with the crypto domain is a plus
