Privacy Statement

This is the privacy statement of BTC Direct Europe B.V. and all its associated entities and partnerships. We explain why we collect and use personal information, what information and which rights you have when we process your personal information. This statement specifically relates to information we process that is shared through careers.btcdirect.eu. We think it is important that our service is transparent, personal and reliable, and that you know what your personal information is used for.

BTC Direct at all times abides with the current regulations, including the Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming.

BTC Direct B.V. carries out the recruitment procedure for BLOX on behalf of BLOX B.V. As a result, vacancies from BLOX are also published on the vacancy website of BTC Direct. In this context BTC Direct will process the personal data it receives in accordance with what it has agreed with BLOX. What personal information do we process? For the selection procedure to be processed properly we will ask you to share some information with us. We will collect personal data such as your name and contact details and the data you provide us with, for example the data on your CV or in your cover letter. Privacy and protection of personal data We use this information to assess your suitability for the open position or assignments. If necessary for the position or assignment, an assessment or a pre-employment screening may be part of the assessment. In the context of application procedures, we have a legitimate interest to process personal data and to be able to carry out the application process.

Only if you give us permission, we can include your data in our system so that we can approach you for other available and suitable positions. 

Providing the personal data is not (legally) required. However, if you do not provide this personal data, we may not be able to assess whether you, as a candidate, are suitable for a vacant position. With whom do we work? We provide your personal data to those who are in charge of the execution of the above described purposes, such as intended managers, employees of the HR department, and/or interviewers if you are invited for a job interview. We store the data you provide in an external recruitment software package. When the position requires it, we may provide personal data to third parties who assist us in assessing whether you are suitable for the position, for example an assessment or screening agency. Storage term We will retain your personal data for a maximum of four weeks after the end of the application period. If you have given us your permission to keep your data so that we can inform you about future vacancies, we will keep your data for a maximum of one year after registration. You can withdraw this permission at any time. Cookies If you visit our website, we process your personal data with cookies. We use technical cookies to make the website function. We make use of cookies. A cookie is a small data file in which your browser stores some information. These are not personal data, but do enable us to see that you have been on our website before. The cookie allows us to recognize your IP address.

Our website uses two types of cookies. Analytical cookies help us to keep track of visitor statistics and give us an insight into the functioning of the website. We use Google Analytics and Hotjar in this context. Your rights In line with the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to have your personal data removed. You have the right to access, rectify and supplement your personal data.
